World Film Collective has a proven track record of success in delivering practical, hands-on filmmaking training to young people around the world. Our workshops provide a unique opportunity for young people to engage with each other in a creative environment and have been proven effective in helping young people develop valuable professional and technical skills, as well as self-confidence and communication skills.
WFC’s workshop programme is scalable, replicable, and easily modified, making it ideal for implementation in a variety of settings. Drawing on our extensive experience, WFC's team of professional filmmakers and educators can develop a bespoke workshop programme to meet the needs of any group. Possible benefits to our workshop partners include:
- effective interactive education with hard-to-reach young people
- the creation of public outreach or advertising campaigns that harness consumer creativity in addressing and engaging targeted groups
- proficiency in digital media production and its application in the classroom
All workshops are delivered, monitored, and evaluated by WFC's expert team. Upon completion of the workshop, participants receive:
- WFC’s comprehensive Mobile Phone Filmmaking Manual
- A DVD showcasing the exercises and films produced during the workshop
- Access to WFC’s international network of filmmakers
- A certificate of completion as a testament to their proficiency in mobile phone filmmaking
- A Bronze or Silver Arts Award qualification administered by WFC’s certified Arts Award Advisors (optional)
